New Residents to Scott Point:

Upon purchase of a property on Scott Point, new residents must complete a New Resident Letter and send to the Billing Contact (above) and include a $50 account set-up fee.

Leak Allowance:

The water toll and consumption bylaw contains billing provisions for a loss of water caused by a sudden and accidental failure of a pipe, valve or fixture, and not as a result of carelessness or negligence. Any resident or homeowner suffering a sudden loss of water should immediately inform the trustees.

After repairs are completed by a qualified plumber, the homeowner should fill in a Leak Allowance FORM  and return to the trustees along with a description of the problem and the repair. With the filing of a Leak Allowance Form, and with the approval of the Trustees, a bill may be adjusted to the lower of: actual consumption at the current rate, or three times the highest bill in past 12 months.
